Quick Update: As an interim solution, I decided to simply "Disable"
sidebyside view for "Monthly".

On a default Kronolith install, in kronolith/month.php line 21:

Change it to read "$sidebyside = 0;"

This will effectively force it to display the Month View as non-sidebyside.
