When parsing FETCH results, we only parse a result if an untagged response appears (see line 4238 in Client/Socket.php). So in a conversation like you provided, no fetch responses would be parsed so we should theoretically be returning an empty array from the fetch() command. Is the issue that IMP is trying to display the message, and we are relying on an exception to be thrown instead of checking for array key existence in the return array? So i have 2 options - let imp handle things or do imap directly. IMAP does work fine (with patch from #10679) for all my user accounts. Using IMP (which does use imap too in the backend) should work too - but it does not for all accounts. Some users are unable to login and dovecot logs reports invalid passwords provided. Looking at the debug output from dovecot it seems, that if imp is used to provide authentication, some passwords (guess with special chars in it - only a guess) are not passed correct to the imap server - they are different from what the user does provide. Switching to imap auth using the same password does work. Looks like a bug to me in imp authentication - can't tell where exactly but thats the behaviour seen. Still don't think this should be handled at the IMAP Client level though. It is perfectly acceptable (and may be desirable) to do something like fetching a range of UIDs, without the expectation that any/all of those IDs actually exist. This is the recommended behavior, for example, when syncing the local cache when CONDSTORE isn't available. Existence checking needs to be done instead at the application level, where the code knows what the fetch results are actually being used for. I'm assuming you are looking at this for the mobile view. Try the fix I just committed. This method is essentially duplicative of showPreview(), so I combined the two. The only difference is that when viewing a full message, errors should bubble to the AJAX handler while when viewing a preview message, errors need to be caught and handled by the preview JS display code (since it is possible the message is loading in the background, in which case the error should not be displayed). I think this should work now. Before a few weeks something was corrected in the autocompleter code, but this is not what my problem solved, too. The issue is, that the autocompleter will most of the time not show up until I wrote 4 letters, though I set ac_threshold to 1, even the maximum (200) can't be hit. Another time the autocompleter won't filter again, when typing the 3rd letter, typing the 4th will filter again. This behaviour I get, when I use the hook as given in the examples: public function prefs_init($pref, $value, $username, $scope_ob) { switch ($pref) { case 'add_source': // Dynamically set the add_source preference. // Example: Useful hook when using a Turba source with shares // enabled (i.e. the example localsql configuration). return is_null($username) ? $value : $GLOBALS['registry']->call('contacts/getDefaultShare'); case 'search_fields': case 'search_sources': // Dynamically set the search_fields/search_sources preferences. // Example #1: Use the list of sources defined in the contacts // application (e.g. Turba). #Horde::debug($pref); if (!is_null($username) && $GLOBALS['registry']->hasMethod('contacts/sources')) { $sources = $GLOBALS['registry']->call('contacts/sources'); if ($pref == 'search_fields') { $out = array(); foreach (array_keys($sources) as $source) { $out[$source] = array_keys($GLOBALS['registry']->call('contacts/fields', array($source))); } } else { $out = array_keys($sources); } # Horde::debug($out); return json_encode($out); } return $value; } } When I set this on my own in the preferences so that it will be saved in the pref-table, the autocompleter works correctly. I see alarm_start being set to the configured time for the alarm. i.e., If I create an event for 13:00, and say to remind me 15 minutes prior, it is saved as 12:45 (adjusted for GMT, of course). > and the event start hour that is showed in the alarm popup > notification is the event hour start - the event_alarm time, set in > event. This I *do* see...the time displayed in the notification is the alarm_start time, not the event_start time (so with a 15 minute prior alarm setting, it shows the event start time 15 minutes early). > If i create one recurring event in the past with start hour - > event_alarm time set after current hour, the notification is showed > in the current session, but if the start hour - event_alarm time is > later than current hour, the event alarm is not showed until > logout/login. This I can't reproduce. I've tried all types of different times, event lengths etc.. 0) Current time: 13:00, Tuesday 1) Create a daily recurring event on Monday at 11:00, for 1 hour with a 15 minute prior alarm. Correctly, no alarm is shown. 2) Create a daily recurring event on Monday at 12:30, for 1 hour with 15 minute prior alarm: Since the current time is within this event's timespan, an alarm is shown immediately after saving. 3) Create a daily recurring event on Monday at 14:00 with 15 minute prior alarm. No alarm is shown until 13:45. Which of these cases is failing for you? The only thing broken that I can see locally is the displayed start time of the event in the notification... > The second commit (the recent) doesn't change anything, that i noticed. The last commit is needed to catch (2) above. If we are past the current occurrence's start time, but not past it's end time, the code that calculates the next occurrence will not count the current event, so the event will potentially be missed when polling for alarms. For now this is irrelevant. You need to look at the IMAP logs generated by IMP and see why it is not authenticating correctly. unfortunately, you will have to do this on your own since this deals with sensitive data (passwords) that you probably don't want to share with the world. This does, however, mean several preferences and configuration parameters may need to be changed. Current preference values will be automatically updated. This is a necessary evil, or else there will be NO way to accurately determine the charset in future versions. (Most users should be using default values, so this will not affect them. Addtionally, from feeback, it seems likely that very few users are currently using the fixed_folders configuration option). 23 files changed, 253 insertions(+), 117 deletions(-) http://git.horde.org/horde-git/-/commit/fd89d722f80b5b9715033d21e5ecbb06605b7ab0 From bugs at horde.org Sat Oct 29 06:59:10 2011 From: bugs at horde.org (bugs at horde.org) Date: Sat, 29 Oct 2011 00:59:10 -0600 Subject: [Tickets #10093] Re: Cannot create folder name with ampersand In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <20111029005912.Horde.Unk_Txha3zhOq6RA7ArmzDA@bugs.horde.org> DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE. This instead relates to the fix mentioned below for broken multipart/related messages. The fix on place theoretically *should* show the attachment... except this message example is twice as broken as normal because the PDF part does not even contain a content-ID. This should be fixed now.
