[horde] Paradigms

All,

I'm working with Horde from the Head...including all the available modules.  I'm absolutely addicted to Horde and have thought of a million different ways to contribute, and believe that since I have "no skill", donation will finally be my way of assisting this excellent project...

Nonetheless, I have noticed a paradigm with some of the Horde applications:  Populating selection lists with all the "Users in the System".  For example, in Hermes, on the "Search" page, the "Employee" list is a list gathered from all the "Users in the System".   In a scenario where the software is supporting a mixed group of employees and clients...the list can be super huge and difficult to navigate for an idiot like myself.  The Horde framework supports the separation of the "Users in the System" into groups, and I was wondering if there was a way to notify the application to retrieve its lists, with which to populate its controls, from a selected group.  For example:  With 10 employees and 1000 clients...two groups: US and THEM...US lists the employees and THEM lists the clients...on entry to Hermes the application is configured to read the US group and populate its controls with the list of users only from that group...

Anyway, just thoughts from an addled mind...  Most importantly, I would like to send out a big "Thank You!" to all the Horde Team.
