This *is* helpful advice.  Just like some other people have been doing  
on this list - you try to setup all of Horde at once and when it  
doesn't work it gives us absolutely no way of knowing *what* is wrong.  
  Just saying "I can't login to IMP" could be one of about 1,000  
different things.  Divide and conquer is the best strategy.

Nowhere did you mention that you could login to dovecot at all and/or  
through the test page, for example.  So that's as good a place to  
start as any.
