How to view Chinese in imp?

I have just installed horde and imp on my Redhat Linux 7.0 Server.
All is running ok but I could not see the contents of my native language 
mail in Chinese. Notice that I am not meanning the menu are not
Chinese word, but the real content of Chinese mails.
I have add
"$lang->lang['zh'] = 'Chinese';
$lang->charset['zh'] = 'GB2312';"
in the lang.php3 file, but the Chinese words are still in wrong style. Who 
can help me? Thanks a lot!
