[imp] can not create folders on top

hi!

i can not create and see folders on the top with imp. with kmail i have no 
problems ....

i read the mailing list archiv and find out to configure to:

    'name' => 'IMAP Server',
    'server' => 'imap.server.net',
    'protocol' => 'imap/notls',
    'port' => 143,
    'folders' => 'INBOX.',
    'namespace' => '',
    'maildomain' => 'server.net',
    'smtphost' => 'smtp.server.net',
    'realm' => '',
    'preferred' => ''
);

i try with point without i printed it to the namespace, but it does not 
work ...

on the imp i get:  The folder "test" was not created. This is what the server 
saidInvalid mailbox name 

directory:

4 directories


i use:

horde 2
imp 3.2
courier-imap
