There is most likely a message in the INBOX that is causing c-client/php to segfault. Check for segfaults in the apache log (assuming you are running apache) and/or upgrade your c-client version. If that doesn't work, you will have to determine (most likely by trial and error) what messages are causing the problem and manually remove them from the users' mailboxes. michael _______________________________________ Michael Slusarz [slusarz at curecanti.org] From jan at horde.org Tue May 3 01:34:54 2005 From: jan at horde.org (Jan Schneider) Date: Tue, 03 May 2005 10:34:54 +0200 Subject: [imp] Request for contribution: What is IMP? I have also added the following to my server.php: 'quota' => array ( 'driver' => 'courier', 'params' => array( 'login' => '', 'password' => '' ) ) In addition to that, I tried changing the line of code in imp/lib/Quota/courier.php that previous postings have suggested (see: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=imp&m=110882987624668&w=2). That said, I do get a quota bar at the top of my Inbox but it says "Unable to retrieve quota". Any other tricks I could try? Thanks. My setup is somewhat different though. I'm using exim with courier-imap. In addition, I'm doing everything entirely through mysql (ie, logins, passwords, maildir locations, etc). Since I have courier-imap compiled with mysql support, a file called 'authmysqlrc' is installed along with the 'authdaemonrc' file. In 'authmysqlrc' is where you tell courier-imap what fields you're using to do the specific sql lookups. Among that list is a MYSQL_QUOTA_FIELD. Mail is bounced appropriately when the quota is reached. I assume the courier driver is expecting a 'maildirquota' file within the ./Maildir. Does the courier quota driver support this type of setup at all or is futher explanation needed? I'll try doing some debugging when I get home (or over the weekend). Looking at it remotely (without access to logs), it doesn't seem to be trivial case of output being generated prior to PHP application setting up headers (for example errors/warnings from PHP interpreter itself). -- Aleksandar Milivojevic Pollard Banknote Limited Systems Administrator 1499 Buffalo Place Tel: (204) 474-2323 ext 276 Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L7 From th at tobyheywood.co.uk Sat May 7 17:19:06 2005 From: th at tobyheywood.co.uk (Toby Heywood) Date: Sun, 08 May 2005 01:19:06 +0100 Subject: [imp] Spell Checker Message-ID: <427D5AFA.6020807@tobyheywood.co.uk> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Two things, is there a way for users of imp to have a custom spell check file? ie They can add words in that they use regularly but the spell checker is unaware of. Secondly, I recently visited http://www.linuxquestions.org/ and noticed that the spell check facility they provide IMHO works better and is also quicker than the way the spell check feature works in IMP. It works by providing a drop down menu containing all possible alternatives, the users selects the correct one and moves onto the next possibly incorrectly spelt word. Would it be possible to have something similar? Don't get me wrong, I think that Horde/IMP is excellent. Just interested in making it as user friendly as possible.
