Its part of the iCalendar spec - 4.8.1.3 "Classification". I've already had
people ask how Private events are handled, so I know its going to come up here
internally. Here's a sample of a sync from a Tungsten E2, that I just did to
confirm it really does exist:

input received from client (text/x-vcalendar)
BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:1.0
BEGIN:VEVENT
SUMMARY:T at sl
CATEGORIES:Business
CLASS:PRIVATE
DESCRIPTION:
DTSTART:20050725T140000
DTEND:20050725T150000
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR

So lemme see: a short list of:

1) support for recurring events, ala vCal (I guess this really amounts to
supporting vCal/iCal 1.0),
2) a preference to choose which databases to sync, and,
3) Classification support,
4) Oh, and support for Location

and I have a functioning, syncing HEAD install :)
