[announce] Kronolith H3 (2.1-RC1)

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the first release candidate of the
Kronolith Calendar Application version H3 (2.1).

Kronolith is the Horde calendar application.  It provides web-based calendars
backed by a SQL database, the MCAL library, or a Kolab server.  Supported
features include shared calendars, remote calendars, meeting management,
alarms, recurring events, and a sophisticated day/week view which handles
arbitrary numbers of overlapping events.

This is a preview version that should not be used on production systems.  This
version is considered feature complete but a few bugs may still exist in the
code.

Testing is requested and comments are encouraged.
Updated translations would also be great.

Major changes compared to the Kronolith H3 (2.0) versions are:
    * Year view.
    * Email notifications when events have been added or changed.
    * Show current alarms in sidebar menu.
    * Event status of "Free".
    * Subscription support for calendar clients like iCal or Sunbird.
    * Allow to freely set event years.
    * Support meeting planning with clients without iTip/iCalendar support.
    * Improved side-by-side views for multiple calendars.
    * Improved accessibility.
    * New translation: Portuguese.
    * Compatible with PHP 5.1.
    * Deprecated MCAL driver.
    * Permissions to restrict number of events.
    * Simplified free/busy URLs.
    * Command line script to batch import iCalendar data.
