+ attempts to send messages fail: the text disappears from the 'compose' window
+ (though the window remains open), and no mail is sent. Tried both SMTP and local
+ copy of sendmail, same results. It's not a sending-mail configuration, because
+ the 'report this message as spam' option works. So it's something else.
