+ first, apology for my bad english ;)
+ 
+ i've wondered, that sometimes are segfaults in the error_log. i have installed 
+ the newest php (4.2.3) & apache (1.3.26) version.
+ 
+ now i have found the problem:
+ 
+ if this in the mail header:
+ From: ()
+ 
+ imp shows   as sender. with the attempt to open the email, the apache-
+ process segfaulted. after some try, i could fetch a strace-log from the process.
