  I just tested this, and I get the "mailbox is null" error regardless of whether
  or not the third parameter is there. Again, that error is a pop3/c-client/php
  error - We've tried fixing it at the IMP level, and we haven't been able to.

+ That's quite odd.  I made this change to a server being used by a 2000 customer
