  a ZIP attachment.  I have reproduced the fact that an "imp.zip.*" file gets left
  in /tmp on Solaris, even though the PHP temporary directory is /var/tmp on this
  machine.  I'll keeping looking at it.

+ i believe this was resolved; i don't think it is an issue in 3.x in any case.
