+ I have tested IMP by setting $conf['server']['change_protocol'] to false in 
+ imp/config/conf.php.  After I did that I went to the url where IMP resides on 
+ my werbserver and manually entered in a mail server that is hosted on a windows 
+ nt server and it works fine.  When I put in a mail server (qmail) that's being 
+ hosted on Redhat 7.2 and works fine with an email client (Outlook Express) I 
+ get the following error message: "Login failed for some reason. Most likely 
+ your username or password was entered incorrectly."  When I examine the logs 
+ for qmail (/var/log/maillog) it shows the following:
+ Nov 11 21:06:12 kachha ipop3d[14001]: pop3 service init from 142.179.220.217
+ Nov 11 21:06:36 kachha ipop3d[14001]: Command stream end of file while reading 
+ line user=??? host=UNKNOWN
