  they try to send a letter after their session times out, the letter disappears
  with no warning whatsoever. I believe this is especially serious because it
  affects letters which cost their composers a good deal of time.

+ Upgrade to IMP 3.2-RC3 or wait for the IMP 3.2 release. Though we can't stop the
+ session from being expired, we now popup a javascript window to alert users a
