+ I'm not sure why this isn't working for you.  strstr() *should* match 
+ either 'pop3' or 'pop3/notls'.  Regardless, I have changed the code to 
+ specifically check 'base_protocol' instead, which should fix this problem (this 
+ is how it is done in HEAD).  Check RELENG_3 to make sure this works for you.
