Bug#: 1247
Product: Horde
Version: other
Platform: All Browsers
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Resolution:
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Core
Area: BUILD
AssignedTo: chuck at horde.org
ReportedBy: steve at alexson.org
URL: http://mail.alexson.org
Summary: Horde Preferences in LDAP

Horde 3.0 (HEAD, 2003-05-16 snapshot)
OpenLDAP 2.1.4

I am trying to store my Horde user preferences within an LDAP directory. I have
setup the prefs driver within horde/conf.php for the LDAP directory. I watch
the LDAP server as I change settings, and it does write the settings to the
proper user. I also verify this through an ldapsearch. Everything seems to work
fine until the user logs out of Horde. When the user logs back in, the Layout
preferences of the Home page seem to be ignored. The theme is set, and all
other modules (imp, turba, sam, etc) seem to read their settings out of the
LDAP directory properly.

If I convert Horde to use an SQL prefs driver, everything seems to work fine.
