Problem opening PDF files

I have this problem with every version of IE6 on Windows XP Home.  I have
asked friends and they also have the same problem.

If I click the text link for a PDF atachment in the inbox I get an error pop
up window as horde is trying to open the file as a php active x document and
not a pdf file.

How can I fix this?
