IE as well as the PDF viewer are pretty broken when it comes to showing PDF
documents inline, especially when running IMP over HTTPS. There are few
measures you could take to make this combination work, search the mailing
list archives, you will find lot's of messages on this topic.

IMP 4 will handle this a tad smarter to work around the worst of these bugs.
