On horde_prefs (and horde_users), the pref_uid field is set to varchar 32.
Where logins include the @domain.com I have found that some very long domain
names can exceed this.

I have upped my local database to varchar 64, and don't see any reason why
it might be safer to up it in the codebase. Most other places (like turba)
have this set to varchar 255.
