when you create a new imap folder with a '.' in the name, imp will create
two folders (with the '.' as the directory separator), but it is not a real
subfolder... if you delete the subfolder, imp will delete both folders. IE,
create a folder called 'appisolutions.net' and imp will display a folder
named 'appisolutions' and 'net'. if you then try and delete 'net' both
folders disappear.
