Okay, my final comment, I swear.  The href="#" with a javascript of 'return
false;' does prevent the page from going to the top.  My test case didn't
have the return false; like Horde generates it to have.

So basically, the line:

<a id="myid" onclick="alert('hi'); return false;" href="#">Text</a>

works in all the browser's I've tried, and doesn't cause the page to scroll
all the way to the top.
