Correct, set unixhierarchysep in imapd.conf.

>From imp/config/prefs.php:

$_prefs['trash_folder'] = array(
// for Exchange, uncomment the entry below and remove the default value
entry

Also defined INBOX.Trash in the per-user "options" for the 'thomas' user.
