How is current HEAD looking now?  I've fixed at least 3 or 4 fairly critical
looking bugs and have made several performance improvements (sort a level
only once, don't save on traverse only) over the last week or so.  I was
breifly able to reproduce the segfaults on my system last week (although
they were completely random and only occurred maybe 1 of 10 times I logged
in), but with all the recent changes I haven't seen any segfaults in 5 or 6
days.
