nag/lib/Nag.php. Make sure that $GLOBALS['display_tasklists'] contains your
tasklists. Then go from there.

The UI is a little different than Kronolith, but you should see an asterisk
next to the tasklists you've chosen. If you don't, that's your problem.
Perhaps you don't have a working/permanent prefs backend, perhaps there's
something else off.
