Start with a blank horde page.  Select layout, add a bunch of blocks two
columns wide.  After about, say, 6 rows, it will no longer display.  I had
this:

google news, address book
calendar events, calendar monthly summary
calendar month view, random fortune
sunrise/sunset, moon phases
current time, current trouble tickets
news content slashdot, news content security focus (empty)

Now, you can't select layout anymore.

I managed to add another one (comics) after those, before layout was
unavailable, and now the horde page itself won't show up anymore, and I
can't change it because layout doesn't work.  I may have to try to remove it
in preferences for a temporary fix (reversion).
