It would be great to have that single option replaced with the following:

After deleting, moving, or copying a message, do the following:
- Return to the mailbox listing
- Show the next unread message, or the listing if there are none
- Show the previous unread message, or the listing if there are none
- Show the next message, or the listing if this is the last
- Show the previous message, or the listing if this is the first

Of course, if the mailbox listing view is threaded, 'next' and 'previous'
will have different meanings and I would imagine it would be best to move
up/down the thread, or to the next/previous read/unread thread.
