I'm experiencing problems with emails that are sent from web pages. The
problems occur when using:
1) PHP's mail() function
2) FormMail CGI-scripts, like Matt Wright's FormMail

When opening such emails all German and Scandinavian letters (ä, ö, å)are
converted to Chinese letters, question marks, 䬬 symbols etc. However,
when choosing "reply" it all looks as it should.

Here is an email I received yesterday:

There is no problem with "normal" emails that are being sent from one email
address to another. It only happens with emails that have been sent throuhg
php or cgi.
