I only miss one option in imp: to select the language for the spell-checker
in the email-composition window. It can be done by changing the "locale"
settings, but it is not convenient at all. In my case most of my users
write
emails in various languages, including English, Spanish and German. It
is very common to write in a single session in different languages.

I read the code, and from what I can see I think that it should not be very
complex to add a selection field in the compose window. In order to avoid
a big list with all the available languages a section in the imp options
could be created to limit the number of displayed lines.
