The conf.xml has this version information:

And this is the content of the configtab section "Database":

 <configtab name="sql" desc="Database">
  <configsection name="sql">
   <configheader>Horde Database Settings</configheader>
   <configsql switchname="phptype" baseconfig="true" />
  </configsection>
 </configtab>

I've copied the information from the older conf.xml over this configtab and
the setup was successfull now...
