I don't think there's any good way to support tab autoexpansion on all of
the various expand_names-created fields at the moment. The whole thing is a
bit of a mess, though, and it'd be good to clean it up further.

I'm going to mark this ticket as resolved since the bug is gone. Further
enhancements certainly aren't ruled out though.
