You should use the Javascript notification listener for the javascript -
yes, using bodyClass that way is horrendous. ;). And don't worry about
translations for now, just make the text descriptiive. It'll only go into
Horde 3.1, so translators will have time to update.

Other than that, maybe read through horde/docs/CODING_STANDARDS quickly, and
then let us see what you come up with.
