Folder listings in IMAP are out of sync with file system.
To Reproduce:
1) Start IMP session
2) Turn "Use IMAP folder subscriptions" OFF (uncheck) and save.
3) On server, use non-IMAP mail reader (pine, mail, etc) or manually create
a subdirectory in your default mail directory (e.g., "~/mail/Scrappy/")
4) On server, create a mail folder within that directory (e.g.,
"~/mail/Scrappy/Doo")
5) Refresh side-bar folder listing.
BUG: Newly created directory and folder is NOT visible in sidebar.
6) In IMP, click on the "Folders" button.
BUG: Newly created directory and folder is NOT visible in folder list.
7) On the IMP folders listing page, click on the "Folder Navigator" refresh
icon.
BUG: All folders disappear.
8) Refresh side-bar folder listing.
BUG: All folders now disappear there as well.
9) In IMP, go to preferences and turn "Use IMAP folder subscriptions" on
(check), and save.
NOTE: "Use IMAP folder subscriptions" was properly unchecked before this
step.
10) In IMP, click on the "Folders" button.
NOTE: Unless you previously had subscribed to folders, no folders will be
shown.
11) Click on "Show Unsubscribed"
NOTE: All folders are shown correctly.
9) In IMP, go to preferences and turn "Use IMAP folder subscriptions" OFF
(uncheck), and save.
12) Refresh side-bar folder listing.
NOTE: All folders are shown correctly as well.
13) Go to mesage index or message view window.
BUG: Mail folder dropdowns have old folder information.
14) Only way to fix is to log out and log back in.
Reproducible 100% of the time.
NOTE: Also seems to happen when renaming folders in existing subdirectories
as opposed to creating folders in new subdirectories. Have not tested
creating new folders in existing subdirectories.
Environment: IMP 4.0.3 with Horde 3.0.4, PHP 4.3.10, Dovecot 0.99, SSL-Only
IMAP, Apache 2.x
