Thanks for your reply.

All we're trying to achieve here is to remove the need to choose the default
language every single time, i.e. remove unnecessary barrier from getting to
your webmail just that little bit quicker.

In both IE and Firefox my default language is set to English (United
Kingdom) [en-gb]. Every time I access horde from Firefox or IE I get the
'Welcome to Horde' message with the Language defaulting in the select box to
'English (American)'. I notice that 'English (British)' *is* an option in
the select box, but Horde is obviously not getting it right based on the
default language in my either of my Internet browsers.

So by all means, let Horde (correctly please!) guess my default language
based on my Internet browser language settings, but I don't want to have to
reconfirm my selection every single time I log back in subsequently.

Imagine if, every time you opened up IE you got a welcome message and a
'please select your preferred language' question? How annoying would that
be?

Thanks for your comments.
