I must say, your response is not very helpful. As I am not a programmer, it
is outside my expertise to understand why the base horde is not working for
me, and because it is not working, I realise that I must have it setup
wrong.
I also accept that Windows is not the preferred installation type, but this
is what I have to work with and from other posts it sounds like other people
have got it going on Windows. I saw horde running on another system and I
was very impressed with what I saw, but the installation has not gone as
smoothly as I would have hoped and there is a lot of assumption in the user
posts that people know what is required. I am sorry, but some of it is a
bit confusing to me.
I have included my test.php results to see if you can help identify what
might be setup wrong.

As I am not using LDAP or PostgreSQL, I would not expect these two warnings
to stop my install from working. Apart from these two items, everything
else is green. When I refresh the screen the session counter increases by 1
as per the documentation. I would expect that when I run a test program and
it reports everything as OK, then the program should probably work.

The only thing I can see here that looks like a problem is the Magic_Mime
entry. It tells me the file should be in c:\php5\magic.mime, but my install
is c:\php and the other test report indicates that mime_magic is OK, so I do
not know which one to believe.

As I am using IE, I read the Content Advisor details and also tried
the setting for $conf['cookie']['path'] = '/';
but it did not work either.
Finally, my server is a 1Ghz machine, so could it be that the server
is too slow to process the horde system in a timely fashion? I have run a
lot of web pages on it (Mambo, Drupal and other CMS software) without any
problem. Response is normally Ok, but I notice with horde there seems to be
a cyclic process in the status bar of /login.php? and
/services/portal/sidebar.php? pages which just seem to continuously cycle
and generate seemingly random strings (I am assuming these are something to
do with sessions or cookies).
I hope that instead of a message telling me that I have configured
horde incorrectly, that you or one of your collegues might be able to help
point me in the direction of either a fix or reason why the horde is not
working on my system.
