Thanks for the reply.  I think it is pretty obvious that I do not have a
valid config somewhere.

If anyone can actually help me, please tell me what you need from my system
and I am happy to post it.  At this stage, the system is loaded as default
(no IMP or anything) and I have followed all install notes to the letter.

Test.php shows nothing wrong (as per previous posts) and I run other PHP web
sites just fine.

If you can help me and need further information about my settings, I would
appreciate it.
