When creating a new event, the javascript that updates the various "Time
Span" fields when one is changed is no longer working.  

The firefox javascript console returns the error "document.event has no
properties"  

Internet explorer returns a variety of error messages, depending on which
field is changed. "'document.event.whole_day' is null or not an object",
"'start_hour' is null or not an object", "'document.event.start_hour' is
null or not an object", etc.
