(and other symptoms). With some of the latest HEAD code changes, we seem to
have regressed a bit in handling updates to a mailbox. To reproduce:

* view the last message in your INBOX (message "A")
* cause another message to be delivered
* delete the message being viewed (message "A")

The result in at least some cases is that the new message has been deleted
and you are viewing message "A" again.

Possible factors:

* trash folder is off
* it may only happen if the new message is _not_ last in the new sort order
(for instance, it has an earlier date, or it is sorted into an earlier
existing thread)
