It seems that aus_state_regexp is never defined.

The address is stored in an LDAP directory in a postalAddress attribute. 
The regular expression /ACT|NSW|NT|QLD|SA|TAS|VIC|WA/ on line 1060, which is
supposed to recognize Australian addresses, matches the last two characters
of ...$Skokie, IL 60077$USA
