yes, you are both right. Wicked should be able to use other "input formats",
but IMHO this doesn't mean that a functionality of one way should be
limited, because there is another way to do it.

I think including HTML tags with Text_Wiki or the WikiFormatting of Xinha is
an additional functionality like using grafic smilies or rendering the
content to a pdf or allowing the usage of certain plugins of Xinha or
another parser/renderer.
(N. B. the admin of a horde installation should be able to limit each of
them sitewide and ... maybe sometimes in the future ... even more granular
limited also for certain users/groups)
 
Of course I don't know exactly the general direction of Wicked, this is only
a suggestion.
