Okay, I was finally able to reproduce this by logging in and using Kronolith
with a new user, so that my calendar was created, logging out, and then
deleting all of my preferences and logging back in.

I've put in several checks to handle this case. It's fixed in HEAD and in
FW_3 CVS; it'll be in Kronolith 2.1.0 or the next 2.1-RC, if we have one.
