I am running a fairly old version of Courier IMAP (v3.0.5); I'll be
upgrading that to v4.1.0 over this coming weekend, with any luck, and can
test to see if the problem goes away with the upgrade.

Is there any further information I can provide, or do you consider this a
non IMP bug and not worth the effort to work around?
