I can almost guarantee this is an issue with the mailbox parameter being
somehow set wrong (or not set at all) when switching mailboxes.  The
question is why is this happening?  (I have never seen this behavior - and
this behavior is such a common way of using IMP you would think that someone
else would have reported this before).
