Better, but now any containers I have that are two levels deep -and-
expanded get added to the tree once for every subfolder. For example I have
a test/utf container that has several folders with UTF-8 foldernames for
testing. If I expand that folder, then log out and back in, my folder tree
will contain test/utf (and all its children) once for every subfolder (which
happens to be 5 of them).

This doesn't show in the menu folder dropdown, and it doesn't seem to show
in the sidebar either - only on the Folders screen.
