Ups. I rechecked the code, my information was out of date: the update checks
if all provided fields are exactly the same with a db entry. In this case no
update is needed indeed.

Anyhow, the error message "invalid address book" refers to a bug that's
fixed by now in head as well as in FRAMEWORK_3
