In fact there are about 20 folders in my Maildir and I'm not able to display
the content of the folder conatining > 3000 Mails. All other folders display
just fine and I don't have to wait longer than ~ 3 seconds. But the other
folders contain only < 300 Mails.

Maybe this has something to do with the amount of data in a maildir
(including attachments - there should be some big ones) and is not directly
related to the amount of mails?
