That's why I suggested the visual cue to tell you that updates won't be sent
when you're making changes. If you add attendees to a new event, I think we
have to send emails by default. Anything else seems to violate the "least
surprise" principal.

Otherwise we have:
- always default to off, user always has to check it, pain in the ass.
- always default to on, attendees get email for irrelevant changes
- preference - both overconfiguration, and user just gets to pick which of
the above they want to deal with.
