This is 8 months old report that is actually not a bug. It is a wrong
installation. 
In any case warnings was solved with revision 1.19 of Categories.php.

All used languages *must*  be defined in in conf.php in the shopping
languages array. 
The Merk::getLang() handles the correct language selection.
