On second inspection, maybe it makes more sense to leave the 'permissions'
setting in the params.  Instead of updating lib/Gollem.php, the examples
in config/backends.php would need to be updated.  The benefit would be
that the backend VFS drivers would have access to that setting.  This can
help with autocreate() calls that may do permissions checking before the
higher level Gollem class fixes the permissions.
