Sniffing the connection I see:
A003 NAMESPACE\r\n
* NAMESPACE NIL NIL NIL
A003 OK Namespace completed.

If I setup a dummy namespace, the response is:
* NAMESPACE NIL NIL (("Shared." "."))
A003 OK Namespace completed.

and I can login
